Skeleton Brothers

The Skeleton Brothers is a collective of American filmmakers from diverse commercial, film and television backgrounds who share a common interest in horror films. Started by James Allen Smith and Andrew McAllister in 2008 while working on a feature documentary, The Skeleton Brothers have written several horror scripts and are currently in pre-production on their first feature, Food of the Dogs.

The Skeleton Brothers identity fuses skull imagery, hand-lettered bone iconography, ghoulish palette, and a retro feel, instantly conveying the filmmakers’ genre and reverence for old school horror. Further adding to the tension are the outlines radiating from the skull, which are entombed within the confines of the frame.
