Merrill Lynch, the worldwide investment banking firm, wanted to simplify their financial statements and forms in efforts to streamline communications and improve the client experience. In addition to immersing ourselves in the the technical needs of investors and brokers, we approached the information from a client perspective: are investments making money and how are the accounts trending.
We integrated the varied account information that resided in their databases and designed a system that clearly expressed dynamic financial snapshots. The result was a dramatically improved account statement and financial form system that seemlessly merged the creativity of graphic design with the analytic sensibility of information architecture. 3
